Designed and developed by CAFU Machinery, the apron feeder is a combination of excavator chain and labyrinth sealing support rollers with wear plate pan and heavy duty frame. With its heavy duty structural design and lifetime maintenance free advantages, it is an ideal feeding device for mining, aggregate crushing, and construction waste recycling.

In small and small capacity (up to TPH500) mining, crushing and other feeding applications, CAFU Machinery's apron feeder has a longer life and more stable operation with no lubrication maintenance due to its unique design advantages.

The feeder pan is made of NM400 wear-resistant steel and is locked together by means of an excavator chain (pitch 140mm) to form a pans. The pans are driven by an inverter motor for rotary movement through high-quality sprockets. The heavy duty pans are supported by labyrinth support rollers densely arranged on the frame, the operation is stable and reliable and no maintenance is required for more than 10,000 consecutive hours at our customer's site.

The apron feeder is an understanding feeding device for crushing, material conveying and transferring. Distinguished from conventional chain feeders (when the TPH is around 500t), which require frequent lubrication and replacement of the chain (plate chain), we use heavy-duty excavator chain, an advantage that will allow you to virtually eliminate or avoid maintenance of your equipment, thus allowing you to operate with reduced maintenance costs and increased business performance under the same conditions. In contrast to the pan support rollers used on typical feeders, our labyrinth sealed support rollers, which also utilize heavy-duty design fittings, have extremely high sealing performance, essentially eliminating dust ingress and preventing the grease inside the rollers from becoming contaminated, thus maintaining long-lasting lubrication.
